2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information through our apps and website:

  • Information you provide: Name, email address, and other information you voluntarily submit through contact forms or support inquiries.
  • Purchase information: Transaction records processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. Payment details (credit card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by each platform and are never stored on our servers.
  • Automatically collected information: Device type, OS version, app version, language settings, usage statistics, and crash logs for the purpose of improving our apps.
  • Advertising identifiers: If our apps display ads, we may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) through third-party ad SDKs.

App-Specific Policy: JizaiLog

The following applies specifically to the JizaiLog GPS tracking app for iOS and Android.

Data Collected

  • GPS coordinates: Latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, heading, altitude, and timestamp — collected only during active recording sessions initiated by the user.
  • Email address: Used for account creation and login via Supabase Auth.
  • Display name: Used for profile display within the app.
  • Session metadata: Distance, duration, start/end times, and statistics.
  • Comments and photos: Optionally added by the user to walking sessions.
  • Device ID: Collected only when the user sends debug logs.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking data, or any data outside of active recording sessions.

Background Location

JizaiLog records GPS location in the background (when the screen is off or the app is in the background) only during active recording sessions. The user must explicitly tap "Start Recording" to begin and "Stop Recording" to end. No location data is collected at any other time.

Background mode uses lower GPS accuracy (Balanced) to conserve battery.

Data Storage

  • Local: All GPS data is stored on-device in a SQLite database (local-first architecture). The app functions fully offline.
  • Cloud (optional): Users who purchase the cloud feature can sync data to Supabase (Auth + Postgres + Storage). Cloud sync is opt-in and not required.
  • Payment: Processed by Stripe or platform-native billing (Apple IAP / Google Play Billing). No payment details are stored by GMIX.

Data Export and Deletion

  • Users can export their data at any time (GPX, JSON, full database backup).
  • Users can delete individual sessions or their entire account.
  • Account deletion removes all cloud-stored data permanently.

Third-Party Data Sharing

JizaiLog does not serve advertisements, does not sell user data, and does not share data with third parties. Data is shared only within user-created organizations (e.g., family members or pet sitters), as configured by the user.
